Hi Imad, I did as you recommended and I found it insightful. In other news, how are you liking your Librem 5 so far?

Thanks Martins for sharing, but non of the GNU/Linux Distro you mentioned is verified by GNU OS project. I agree with David below, PureOS is verified by GNU project hence it's Libre OS and respects your privacy. Only Libre verified GNU OS respects your privacy, others don't, simply because they use proprietary software packages that can't be verified by Free Software Community developers.

It's a matter of time for people to discover how "Open Source" was the main issue here, since they allowed proprietary software packages, exploiting millions of uses, especially at the Android level. Android is neither Open nor Libre system - it's surveillance device.

I can't wait till I receive my Librem 5 phone based on Free Software Movement principles and not "Open Source" weak licensing, which allowed Proprietary/Malicious packages from day 1. I refer you to Revolution OS documentary, listen to "Open Source" author what he said, he clearly stated that he allows non-Libre software and that's where the problem.

Speaking of the Librem5 phone I'm waiting to see it in action; Let me know whether Android has a Linux-based contender or not.

Looking forward to it. Ive currently peeked an interest in it because it will be the default OS on the new and upcoming Librem5 phone. I have taken a 2nd SDD and installed it and made KDE the Desktop to run it on. The Librem5 phone will offer both Gnome and KDE for DE's.
