I thought I posted this a few days ago, but I was not "logged in, and it looked like it posted; It did not:

I have checked the Arch repo's and the AUR for it and low and behold it appeared in the AUR a few months ago. On the other hand I was ill for a a while, fell behind running my business... and haven't had time to use it. But now at least I have it for when I get around to using it. I did although already mention clearly that I know it can delete fonts.

Pay attention! ;>)

Fonty Python is available in the LMDE3 software repo. I just installed it and it not only works but it does, indeed, delete fonts. It may be under development again since discontinued software is not usually in the main repository. At least, I did not think it was. Anyway, maybe that will solve the issue.

It does stand to reason that font management would include the ability to delete since it can install. Very good point.

Sounds and looks good, but: CAN YOU DELETE FONTS WITH IT IN LINUX!!!!!!! A lot of people want this feature more than anything, because there are a few places fonts can be (and are) stored, and file manager previews are not good enough to see them well.

It seems like no font manager can: "font-manager" can't, KDE's "font Manager" can't (looks like a cripled remake of font-manager), "font matrix"; nope, and "fonty python" could, but it's a goner now...

This is awesome good share, have you ever tried Typecatcher? It's a native app for Linux, deals with Google's hosted fonts, lets you download them too, pretty useful.
