Hey just wondering if there is an updated method for having Linux Distributions. I'm wanting to have the Distro Icon in my Linux Apps folder next to the Terminal app. Click to boot. With ability to swap between the chrome os and Linux once running. Is there a way I could get this to work in the Linux beta without chroot. Kind of timid on running chroot sense your in developer mode and I'd hate to accidentally mess up my brand new chromebook.

I need a boot-loader for my Chromebooks. One is an ARM and one is Intel. I don't want dual-boot.
I used to use Crouton for Linux on Chromebook.
I read that Developer Mode has its risks however.
So I thought I'd avoid a dual boot.
Is there a boot loader for Chromebooks?
I have an ARM Samsung 2 and an Intel Dell 3 Chromebook.
According to Distrowatch, MX-Linux is popular.
