I just looked up UK&#039;s Kalender. It&#039;s a decent app. 
It doesn&#039;t support import/export from other calendars nor does it support direct printing.

Yes, it will be more powerful and flexible soon.

Before I switched over the Linux, I was a heavy user of UK&#039;s Kalendar. It wasn&#039;t just a reminder, appt thingy - it made a great journal with a good set of recurring and other date-driven actions.

This one looks like it has the ability to do journaling without lots of extra steps. I see the author hopes to add encryption, which will make this a powerful and flexible local solution.]]></description>
