I tried to check Lector out. It looks very promising. So far I have had zero luck getting it to install on either Deepin, KDE neon or Linux Mint Cinnamon/Mate.

I keep getting a variety of errors from 'setuptools' not present to 'dependency not met'. I installed what dependencies were required but no luck. I cloned the repository and did as told but still, no luck.

A couple other blogs mentioned it was hard to install on Ubuntu but gave no details. Google was no help.

I guess I will soon have to roll up my sleeves and jump into the waters of Arch! They always get the good stuff early. I could cheat and go with Antergos or Manjaro but the real Arch users would think I'm chicken. Well, I am.

You get around that crew and I feel like I am not a real Linux user. Just kidding but I do admire users of Arch.

Any chance there is a deb available for Lector? If not maybe it will one day be added to the repositories. Still, great article!
