Perhaps calendaring will be added in subsequent improvements and speed will be optimized.
I think its best “selling point” is its multi-platform feature.

I prefer security, and personalization of my email client. Plus the fact that there’s not calendaring makes it a non-starter for me. But I give credit where its due, and the developers of this deserve applause for making an email client that’s not only fast but portable from your desktop to your laptop to your tablet / smartphone?…that is truly impressive!
