All three have grown exponentially and are totally compatible with each other. I am getting used to the formats and all three have benefits. Appimage has big potential and may possibly be the answer to the cross-platform software dilemma.

KDE Plasma as a Snap is a potential game changer. It is still very early so we will have to wait and see but I can see a lot of possibilities going forward.

Gnome is still making questionable decisions it would appear but I will reserve judgment until more time has passed. Let’s see what they have in mind first, right?

If Deepin 15.9 is any indicator of what’s to come, 2019 is shaping up to be most exciting, indeed.
