In reply to <a href="https://www.geeksmint.com/linux-mint-19-tara-released/#comment-3339">yochananmarqos</a>.

I am sure that was only a typo. Martins puts out a lot of information in his articles so we should be forgiving of an occasional typo. Besides, we knew what he meant.

Another great article. I have been having fun checking out the new Mints. They all have seen some much needed improvements. I have not experienced any Cinnamon crashes yet and that is really impressive. Hopefully this condition will continue.

Deepin 15.6 and KDE Neon 5.13 are equally impressive. The Deepin 15.6 final really improved on the beta release. The beta version felt ready for primetime but the new release opened my eyes to the difference. They really polished it up and it is awesome. A recent update made the entire Deepin experience smoother and eliminated the few minor bugs I encountered.

KDE Neon is just beautiful. The new blur effect is one of those things you did not know you wanted until you see it in action. Wow! is all I can say.

How KDE has managed to implement so many advanced features, as well as eye candy in a system that is stable and runs like a lightweight desktop environment, should be headline news. KDE is on point, big time. As is Deepin and Linux Mint. They are not alone, either.

All three of these releases make 'the year of the Linux desktop' an unofficial reality. For all those who still have not - it is time to make the switch. There has always been many choices but now there are many great choices.
