Using Mint 19, crashes when trying to scan my music folder. I have ~100GB of music. It doesn’t seem to get very far before crashing and it does not report any error — it just vanishes.

600+ GB of music is a lot of files and Lollypop probably couldn’t handle it.

Sad as it may be, I advice you to use a more renowned player – given your need for performance.

seems like it miss play folder and therefore it’s useless to me. Creating database took ages and crashed (600+ GB music). I gave up trying and simply did pacman -R….
