There seems to be a lot more coverage for premium VPNs than free ones. It’d be great if you could review some of them. I’m using Atlas VPN, not a lot of servers to choose from but connection speeds make up for that.
I have tried various VPN’s with varying results. NordVPN threw a couple hiccups at me but has worked well for those I know use it. Personally, I found ProtonVPN to be a perfect fit. The free tier worked amazingly well. In fact, better than some of the competitions subscription service. There was a noticeable slowdown but…just! Proton shines very bright with their subscription service – I have yet to experience any detectable impact felt on my internet speed. Granted, I have yet to test a number of the more highly regarded VPN’s but it is looking more and more like I never will.
I’ve been using windscribe. I got 15GB a month free for sending out a tweet about them. Seems pretty good.
Thanks for this list though. I didn’t know about Proton. I really like their secure email, so I’m trying out their vpn now.
Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, check Proton out. If the list was in order of my preference it would have been higher.
I am surprised that you did not mentioned Nordvpn security provider on your list. I personally started using this provider after I saw this article http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/technology/1407300/expert-reviews-awards-2018-the-products-of-the-year where you can see that Nordvpn was selected as VPN of the year. It’s one of the few VPNs that can get past Netflix’s proxy-blocking systems.
